JUDE LIEBERMAN
What sounds do you love?
The sound of crunching dry autumn leaves underfoot and my husband singing me silly love songs that he makes up.
If you won $100 million in the lottery tomorrow, who or what would you give the first 100K to?
I would run a local contest for people to send in submissions to win the money for their cause, project, business plan, or world-changing idea and pick my favorites!
What is your secret ambition?
To be an aerobics instructor.
To be a drummer in a rock band.
What food and drink would you not want to live without?
I love all things carbohydrate: Bread, potatoes, fruit, candy. One food I would not want to live without would be Tart Frozen Yogurt – not sure how I lived without it for like 24 years!
What is your favorite quote?
“Artists need to create on the same scale that society has the capacity to destroy” – Lauren Bon
“If I agreed with you we’d both be wrong” – Steven Tyler
What I do…
As a strong believer in the power of business for social good, I am currently pursuing my MBA with a focus in Sustainability and Marketing at Portland State University. I work part-time at Activate Cellular and serve on the Leadership Team of PSU’s Net Impact Chapter, and on OEC’s Emerging Leaders Board. I graduated from Pitzer College, member of the Claremont Colleges, in 2003 with a BA in Sociology and French and a minor in Studio Art. Post graduation I lived in France for a year teaching English to high-school students, and then lived in Los Angeles for 5 years during which time I ran my own handmade jewelry design company. This is my 2nd year serving on Levé’s Marketing Communication Committee.
