Eighth Annual Charity Ball
Thanks to you, this year’s Charity Ball was the most successful yet. We had over 650 people partying for a purpose at the Wonder Ballroom and have raised a record-breaking $46,500 for Loaves & Fishes Centers!
Guests enjoyed a great night at the Wonder Ballroom, with live music, a late-night dance party with DJ Yaz, a silent auction, drawing, multiple bars, delicious appetizers, and Portland people looking their best.

Loaves & Fishes Centers is committed to enriching the lives of seniors in our community and assisting them in maintaining independence by making nutritious food, social contacts and other resources easily accessible.
Seventh Annual Charity Ball
Our Seventh Annual Charity Ball was another epic event that shattered our previous fundraising records! We had a few new perks that were a huge hit including:
- Two free drink tickets for those who arrived before 8 pm.
- Delicious apps from local foodie favorites.
- No worries about parking as people who showed us their MAX ticket earned a free entry into our drawing.
- A new venue that is right on the MAX line: Disjecta. It’s a local non-profit that provides resources for artists to create and exhibit new work. Very cool.
…So every dollar we invested in the venue went to support the arts and every dollar guests invested in the night went to our 2010 partner, Children’s Cancer Association! CCA creates moments of respite and hope in the hospital and home for seriously ill children and their families.
Per the usual, there was live music, a DJ (and that killer dance floor energy we know you love), a silent auction, drawing, wine wall and good people looking their best.
