RECOMMEND AN ORGANIZATION

We will be accepting applications for our 2012 nonprofit partner between January 1 and January 31, 2012. All submissions must be submitted via email by 5:00 pm on January 31st to be considered and we will notify applicants of our selection in beginning to mid-March, 2012. Email applications to info@leve-nw.org. We ask that all applications be submitted by someone closely involved with the organization.

Please submit a one-page letter of interest as well as the organization’s past and current year’s financials. We have a very thorough process for selecting our partners, which allows our board and committee members to learn about and engage with each applicant and its work so that we can become advocates of all organizations, not just our selected partner. We strongly encourage you to consider submitting an organization you believe is making an important impact in our community for consideration.

Please note that each year we try to select a nonprofit partner that serves a different type of need in our community. We have recently supported Schoolhouse Supplies, Growing Gardens, Children’s Cancer Association and Loaves & Fishes Centers, and will likely look for applicants that are working in other areas. We do this because we want to consistently educate our networks and event-goers about the many needs of our community. Our hope is that, by doing so, one organization will resonate with what each of our peers already values and activate them to become lifelong supporters.
