The Levé Executive Committee is comprised of the President, Vice President, Finance Chair, Secretary and Immediate Past President. The President chairs the committee, which provides general oversight and leadership to the full board. We meet regularly and often respond to inquiries and situations as they arise and in between full board meetings. In addition to providing day-to-day leadership, this committee makes recommendations to the board regarding policy, strategic direction and financial matters, striving to continually improve upon the delivery of our mission.
Marketing & Communications Committee
We’re writers. We’re creative thinkers. We’re the brand police.
The goal of our committee is to raise awareness of and support for Levé and, through that, for our nonprofit partners, as well as to build and maintain the integrity of Levé’s brand. We do this by driving and overseeing all of our internal and external communication needs including marketing, messaging, strategic planning, media relations, social media, partnership building, the website, collateral development, design, internal trainings and award submissions. Let’s put it this way, we help our organization represent Levé effectively and authentically in all interactions and communications, and if it’s out there for public consumption, we probably had our hands all over it.
The Events Committee is made up of detail people.
Our slogan is Live, Love, Organize. Our committee exists to assist Levé in the planning of events by overseeing all logistical aspects, including working closely with venue, entertainment contacts, and sub-committees chairs and acts as the on-site, day-of-event points of contact. This is where the magic happens.
We also manage the silent auction, which is every bit as unique as Levé itself. We don’t want to run just any old auction so the team scours the city looking for incredible items from local Portland favorites-Wine Tasting at Noble Rot, Blazer tickets, private Pilates lessons, even a Widmer Snowboard have been graciously donated in the past. We’ve since added a drawing to our roster and unlike most drawings…you actually get to pick the item your ticket goes to. It’s a lovely thought that at our event there’s always more than one way to donate, and you can end up taking home some pretty cool items.

The Development Committee
Together, we are raising the bar on fundraising.
The Development Committee provides the board with a strategic fundraising plan so that we can collectively reach Levé’s annual fundraising goals. We hope each year our financial contribution to our nonprofit partner exceeds the last, which we seek through individual and corporate support, grant funding and in-kind donations for our silent auction and drawing, and Charity Ball ticket sales. We are more than fundraisers, we build relationships in hopes that our story and those of our partners excites the community in the same way it does us. We are eternally thankful to our donors and the community for nearly a decade of support and helping us continue to lift our Portland community.
The Advisory Council
The Advisory Council is comprised of previous Levé board members that continue to have a commitment to supporting Levé’s mission. We also have a hard time letting go. As Levé grows and evolves, the Advisory Council plays a key role in ensuring we always adhere to our mission. We also serve as resources for strategic direction of the organization, as well as leverage our history with Levé, and varying experience and skill sets to contribute to the success of Levé’s committees. Our ultimate goal is to serve as ambassadors for Levé in the community and help Levé continue to have a positive impact on our community.
